How to connect your Phone: Connect the phone and the monitor's USB-C port (USB-C to USB-C cable)

How to connect your Laptop: Connect the laptop to the monitor by "USB-C to USB-C" cable (If the laptop has a full-featured usb-c port or thunderbolt 3/4 port)

I. Plug & play with only one USB-C cable:

  1. When your phone is connected to the monitor, due to the power output from the cell phone may not enough to support the normal working of the monitor, it is necessary to reduce the brightness and volume of the monitor to a low level and the monitor can work steadily (Otherwise, the monitor needs an external power adapter)
  2. When your laptop is connected to the monitor via a usb-c cable, due to the power is provided by the laptop, some laptops' power is high enough for the monitor to work stably, and there is no limitation on the brightness and volume, while some laptops can't provide enough power for the monitor. If the monitor does not work stably, please reduce the brightness and volume and see it.
  3. How to save the brightness? When the monitor is connected to an external power adapter. "Turn on the Setup Menu >> Find the 'Save Backvol' in the Setup menu"

Turn on: (On: Brightness setting can be saved, Off: Brightness setting can't be saved)

  1. If the monitor's brightness and volume are at their lowest levels already, but the monitor still can't work stably, please make the monitor connect to a power adapter.

II. Power input/output:

  1. When the monitor's power input is DCSV, the USB-C device gets very low current and may not be able to charge, so you can change it into a PD30W / PD45W / PD65W power adapter.
  2. When the monitor is connected to a PD power adapter, the output specification of the power adapter is required to be PD 5V3A, 9V3A, 12V3A, 15V3A, 20V3.25A (maximum), Out-of-range PD power adapters are not supported and may cause damage to the monitor's hardware.
  3. The monitor cannot be connected to a DC power higher than 5V; it will cause a damage to the monitor.

III. HDR (High Dynamic Range):

  1. If you need to get HDR effect, the signal source needs to support HDR (e.g. game, movie, etc.) and has been turned on, the output device (monitor) support HDR and be turned on at the same time, the monitor can display the HDR image effect. If you do not need HDR function, please turn off the HDR both in the device of signal source and monitor.
  2. When the monitor has a gray screen, check if the HDR of the playback software has been turned on, whether the HDR setup of the output device/computer/laptop (Xbox) has been turned on or not, and the monitor's HDR, make sure they are all on, or off.

IV. Signal Source:

  1. If the monitor has more than 1 video source input at the same time, you can select the source channel you need in the Setup menu.
  2. If 'No Signal' is displayed for a single input, please press the power button to switch to the connected port, or switch to 'AUTO'.

V. Touch Control (for touch model)

  1. Thunderbolt or USB-C full-featured video input does not require an additional USB touch cable;
  2. For HDMI video input, an additional USB touch cable (USB-A to USB-C) needs to be connected to the monitor USB-C2 port;
  3. When using extended screen mode or multi-screen, if the touch is not responding to the current screen, you need to set it up in your computer: "Control Panel" - "Hardware and Sound" - "Tablet PC Settings" - "Configure" - "Setup" - Follow the prompts (if the prompts are not under the touch screen, press 'Enter' on the keyboard to switch to the touch screen, and then touch your finger to complete the setup).
