CREE PERFUME was launched in 1747 by JEAN MICHEL CREE It was a successful business and grew ever bigger Countries throughout Europe took to the scent and soon everyone was talking about it Therefore the company grew and needed more workers The new recruits found the work tougher than they had imagined because the ingredients were difficult to handle Soon several workers injured their hands in bruising or too much exposure to chemicals Many employees contracted illnesses from the chemicals and left However money was plentiful and the company bought better equipment and improved the working environment By the mid1800s business was flourishing with many exceptional products produced In 1861 a new natural fragrance was introduced to the market and it became instantly popular throughout Europe However in 1873 there was a big fire at the factory and many objects were destroyed The business had become so wealthy that it was soon rebuilt and upgraded machinery and a new working environment was created Throughout the 20th century CREE PERFUME continued to produce many scents and perfumes and the original company has become a multinational producer and marketer It is still family owned today but there are now branches in many continents
