4 ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONS 41 Purpose This policy defines the functional responsibility for a Health Safety policy and implementation system for Digital Corp The goal is to assign responsibilities and requirements to key players in order to minimize the risk of injury or illness and comply with government regulations and best business practices 42 Policy Digital Corp is committed to providing a safe and healthful working environment for all employees and third parties Each facility is expected to have technical resources to actively assist all employees with compliance recommendations and corrective action 43 Responsibilities 431 Employee All employees must follow defined policies and procedures for task safety participate in training and notify their immediate supervisors of all incidents and unsafe conditions 432 Supervisor Manager and above Supervisors shall be responsible for making sure employees understand and follow the policies procedures and guidelines for a safe workplace They should manage to eliminate hazards and provide resources training and advice on safe practices as well as plant regulations They must report all incidents and unsafe conditions to the local Health Safety team 433 Health Safety Team Health Safety team will provide consultation on the applicable regulatory requirements implementation and enforcement of the policies internal inspections reporting and emergency support 434 Human Resources and Administration Will lead and manage employee return to work programming and proof of training records 435 SeniorCorporate Leadership Will ensure appropriate resources funding and staffing are available and establish expectations for policy compliance through organizational and communication methods
