ABSTRACT The general objective of this work is to discuss and evaluate through a review of literature on the studies dealing with Acupuncture and Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD is one of the most common neurological and mental developmental disorders in children In turn acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine that involves inserting thin needles in strategic points of the body to promote health and wellbeing Thus the general objective of this work seeks to evaluate through an integrative review of the reading the possible effectiveness of Acupuncture in the treatment of people diagnosed with ADHD As to the specific objectives are recurring the analysis of the evolution and scientific production on the proposed topics and present a perspective of science through database analysis In this context the following research question arises What studies address Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD in conjunction with Acupuncture The research is characterized by being exploratory descriptive with a qualitative approach For this achievement the databases of national and international scientific journals published in PubMed and the VOSviewer software were used for a keyword analysis This literature review followed the Snyder 2019 model structured by steps Among the results 27802 studies were found that address the search terms in isolation from which 25 articles were extracted from this universe that presented theoretical relationships between the topics studied within the period covered by the research to which it was stipulated between 2018 and 2023 Finally the study offers discussions and results related to theoretical methodological and specific development for future research on this topic Observações Senti falta das palavras chave pra traduzir também
