modalidades como futsal vôlei ginástica olímpica futebol de campo dentre outros afim de analisar a predisposição genética de cada atleta A partir desses fundamentos o presente estudo teve como objetivo verificar através do método dermatoglifia a fibra muscular predominante em atletas da modalidade canoagem slalom O estudo foi aceito pelo comitê de ética A amostra foi composta por 15 atletas de alto rendimento integrantes da seleção brasileira de canoagem slalom Foram todos selecionados de forma voluntária e intencional Suas idades variavam entre 20 e 23 anos Um dos critérios foi para amostra intencional pois os integrantes precisavam ter características semelhantes Foram coletados dados antropométricos como idade peso e altura de cada integrante As ferramentas utilizadas foram Caracterização da fibra muscular Dermatoglífico Caracterização de peso e estatura Estadiômetro Impressões digitais Almofada digital microporosa modelo 250 A partir dos dados analisados obtémse que o valor L representa características relacionadas a velocidade O valor W apresenta características de resistência Podemos observar que os valores em L sobressaem os valores W Dessa forma a compreensão parte de que independente do tipo de fibra com maior presença ambas estão atuando de forma simultânea junto a outros sistemas e fatores psicológicos como o sistema cardiovascular a concentração motivação dentre outros Apontamse então maior ativação de fibras glicolíticas Os resultados foram analisados por meio de estatística descritiva
