The Conscience Taking of the Professional Identity Crisis in Teachers of Primary Education Abstract This work researched if the Cycle II of the Primary School teachers 5th to 8th degrees responsibilities of teaching of São Paulo State were aware of their functions and their knowledge in the area of education We have evaluated the teacher professional preparation their determinants The research appealed to the students that deal with this crisis with their teacher who carried this knowledge in practice and the teachers filled with the analyzed data the teachers possibly had the conscience taking as the theoretical support of the analysis 12 teachers acted as research subjects guided by Chaves 2009 with multidisciplinarian readings a qualitative analysis phenomenological Heuristic and quantitative analysis It was possible to verify habits different means of qualitative and consciousness analysis the research found different kinds of investigative conscience taking presented Level I the conscience of the investigative identity consciousness Level II introspective consciousness of the professional consciousness the second level of the conscience taking It shows some professional identity conflicts and their effects in particular the conscience taking process that shows the difficulties not apparent suddenly nor immediately but emerges sometimes in lack of the professional identity as an illusion of the teaching life and the teachers professional situation by repeating their past problems catching the central elements of the speech Keywords Teachers professional identity Consciousness taking of the teaching role identity crisis Teaching professionalization Teachers professional
